West Virginia Swap

This card is dated January 14, 2015. I received this postcard from West Virginia through Swap-bot. The sender wrote, "Hi Alyssa! My mom was a 1st grade teacher for 35 years. We figure she taught 1,000 children to read. What a great way to spend your life! Good luck with your studies and job prospects. My daughter wants to be a teacher too." The postcard says, "The brilliant autumn scarlet of the blueberry and huckleberry bushes is on display at the Bear Rocks Area of the Dolly Sods Wilderness. The road through this wilderness is often closed during the coldest winter months, and in gentler weather, trails lead hikers through arctic bogs." Thanks for the beautiful postcard, Julie!
