I received this postcard on November 26, 2014 from Ohio through Postcrossing. It is dated November 19, 2014. The description on the back says the following: "The Ural Owl is a notoriously fierce bird - the Swedish call it the "strike owl" for its habit of attacking anyone who dares go near its nest. This is a large, pale grey, round-headed owl found mainly in pine forests across north-eastern Europe and Asia." Thanks Carol!
